Upendar Reddy is a Professional Cricketer who has been playing Professional Cricket for almost 2 decades. An experienced all-rounder who has played across different levels in Hyderabad. Upendar began playing cricket at the age of 12 under Coach Maheshwar Singh who is a Former Ranji Trophy Player. Since then, he rose through the ranks performing consistently well across school and club levels. Very few players manage to play all levels of Cricket i.e Local, Club/Division, District, State & Nationals & Upendar is one of those players from Hyderabad who has experience of playing across all levels.
In the next 15 years which followed in his cricketing journey, Upendar went on to play for multiple teams and clubs including playing at District, State and National Level. A game changing all-rounder, Upendar can be that vital cog in the Playing XI who can chip in with crucial cameos at the middle order while be equally potent with the ball with his Off-Spinners. Upendar is currently training under Coach Syed Abid Ali who is a Former Test Cricketer. Upendar since the beginning of time has been blessed with solid foundations considering he has always taken coaching from Domestic and International Level Players.
In a career spanning almost one and a half decade, Upendar has went on to become a Celebrated All-Rounder who has played in some high profile tournaments right from Indo-Bangladesh Series at U19 Level, KSCA Tournament, Telangana T20 League, Indo Nepal Series representing India U19 Team, Tri Nation Series, SGFI U17 to name a few. Upendar on his given day can single handedly impact a game. His Highest Individual Score of 172* vs Hyderabad President’s XI or his 5/6 vs Nepal in Indo-Nepal Series or his 7/28 vs Income Tax in HCA Knockout League Tournament are testimonies of his all-round abilities.
Upendar is currently aiming to play Club/Division/County Cricket in UK & is available to contribute for Clubs in UK as a proper all-rounder. Upendar also recently shifted his base from Hyderabad to UK in order to explore more opportunities.
