Played at Forthill, Dundee, United Arab Emirates batting first made a solid total of 282/6 in 50 overs. After losing some quick top order wickets, it was their experienced campaigner and Captain Harpreet Singh Bhatia who led from the front with a crucial half century. Harpreet came in when UAE was under pressure with scoreboard reading 21/2 and 72/3 at one stage but he held fort from one end alongwith Rahul Chopra to guide UAE to a defendable total. Harpreet scored 81 off 79 balls which included 7 boundaries and a six while stitching 109 runs stand with Rahul who scored 127 runs off 118 balls.
Canada Team in reply were all out for 185 runs in 33.4 overs with Mohammad Jawadullah being the pick of the lot taking 3/36 in 7 overs as UAE won the match by 97 runs.
