Mumbai is a place which is synonymous with cricket, the amount of competition which exists in Mumbai, only the most talented of the lot can make it to the top. One has to excel in their skills & come up with consistent performances to make sure they get to represent the famed Mumbai State Team.
One such young player who is working hard in and out to achieve that dream is the very talented Aayush Patil. Aayush is a batting all-rounder. On his given day, he can be impactful both with the bat as well as with the ball. Aayush is also a very decent striker of the ball, his strong built and height further helps the case!
Aayush started playing cricket at the age of 10 under Coach Rajan Dhotre at Boys Cricket Club and since then, there has been no looking back for the youngster. Ayush went on to become a part of the Mumbai U16 probables in the 2022/23 season and he got trained under former Mumbai Ranji Player Sandeep Dahad. Over the years he has went on to play for multiple clubs and teams where he has excelled with match winning performances.
From all-round performance in Quarter finals of Harris Shield to scoring hundreds in MCA Tournaments like Summer Shield and Dilip Vengsarkar Trophy, Aayush has time and again come up with performances which live up to his calibre.
Ayush who idolizes Australian Cricketer Marnus Labushchagne shared with zoomcricket – “The aim is obviously to play upper division cricket in Mumbai because that’s where you get to play in all the important tournaments where selectors can spot your talent. So, I am focusing on playing Top Division followed by representing Mumbai and then further going at higher levels. I am working on my fitness 4 days a week while I am focusing on my skills 3 days a week to ensure a right balance”
