A right handed top order batsman, 23yr old Samhith began playing at a tender age of 12 and he rose through the ranks performing consistently across school level followed by age group state level teams. In a career spanning over one decade as a professional cricketer, Samhith has represented Hyderabad at U14, U16, U19 and U23 levels. Samhith is one of the few cricketers to have successfully represent all age groups of a State Level Team. Samhith was also in the standby for Hyderabad Senior Team for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the 2020-21 Season.

Samhith began his coaching at HMV Cricket Academy in Hyderabad under Coach Srinivas while he currently trains at CFC Cricket Academy in Hyderabad. Samhith who idolizes MS Dhoni has also taken Coaching Samhith has represented U14 & U16 Levels for Hyderabad twice while he has also played in Marque BCCI Tournaments like Vinoo Mankad Trophy, Cooch Behar Trophy and U23 Col CK Nayadu Trophy.

Samhith stamped his presence scoring a gutsy 89 vs a powerful Mumbai Side in the Vijay Merchant Trophy, followed by that Samhith also registered All India Highest Batting Average in Cooch Behar Trophy. He smacked an impressive double hundred with a Highest Score of 210 vs Jammu Kashmir Team in the 2017-18 season of Cooch Behar while he has also attended NCA Camp (National Cricket Academy) as a Specialist Batsman. Apart from his solid batting skills, Samhith is also quite handy with the ball and can chip in under crunch situations if the team requires.
