Profile:

Manish Rao is a Professional Cricketer who has represented Railways and Mumbai Senior Teams in Domestic First Class Cricket. Manish made his Twenty20 debut for Mumbai in the 2016–17 Inter State Twenty-20 Tournament on 31 January 2017 while he made his first-class debut for Railways in the 2017–18 & Ranji Trophy Debut on 1st November 2017.

Hailed to be one of the most prolific and consistent all-rounders in Mumbai Cricket, Manish has an experience of almost 15+ years as a Professional Cricketer beginning from Jr. age groups to progressing towards Senior Teams. Manish started playing cricket at the age of 11 under the Coaching of Rajan Dhotre sir and he rose through the ranks by performing consistently in School, College and Local Level tournaments. Manish made his Club Cricket debut in Mumbai at the age of just 15 playing for Sportsman CC, Kalyan and made his Top Division Debut at the age of just 16 representing Muslim United Club which speaks highly of his talent making debuts at an early age.

Apart from playing all the 3 formats at the highest level i.e Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare, Manish has also represented Mumbai at U22 and U25 levels. Mumbai and Railways are two of the most prestigious first class teams in Indian Domestic Arena and Manish holds the distinction of playing for both the state teams.

Manish has been a consistent performer in Top Division Mumbai Cricket as well performing well across different formats in various MCA Tournaments. Manish has played in almost each and every marquee tournament of MCA and he has performed with conviction in each and every tournament. From being one of the top all-rounders in Kanga League to taking twin fifers in a Top Division Times Shield match to scoring super quick half centuries in T20s to scoring match winning hundreds in top division day tournaments like Police Shield, Manish has done it all when it comes to proving his worth as an all-rounder in Mumbai Cricket.
