Dhiraj Manwani is a Professional Cricketer from Mumbai who has played Top Division Cricket as well as been part of Mumbai U23 Centre Camp. A bowling all-rounder as a cricketer, Dhiraj is one of those elegant left arm pacers who can be equally handy with the bat. His smooth action and athletic body further helps in making him a swift and agile left arm pacer.

Unlike many cricketers who start playing from childhood, Dhiraj started off things pretty late at the age of 20. However, the amount of progress he has made in last 5 years has been simply commendable. From being a part of Mumbai U23 probables to even being a net bowler in IPL to playing Top Division Cricket in Vidarbha where at one stage he even played in Ranji Trophy Selection League Matches. Dhiraj has progressed leaps and bounds as a cricketer and with the kind of dedication he has, he certainly holds a promising future ahead.

Dhiraj started off under Coach Sangam Lad who is one of the most successful Coaches in Mumbai Club Cricket while currently he trains at PJ Hindu Gymkhana which in itself is an A Division Club. From playing Kanga and MCA Madhav Mantri Tournament in 2019 to Guzder League in 2021 from Vidarbha, Dhiraj has been in the reckoning for higher levels.

Even in his stint as an IPL Nets bowler in 2019, Dhiraj gained experience of bowling to International Players like Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, David Warner and many more international cricketers.

Dhiraj shared with Zoomcricket -“I Idolize none other than Zaheer Khan, the way he swung the ball and the way he has contributed in Indian Cricket, he is one of the best left arm pacers of India. I also learned a lot from my stint as an IPL Nets bowler where I got to bowl to so many International Players. The experience there made me an evolved cricketer. I am working hard on my game as well as on my fitness and my immediate goal is to play Days for State Team while obviously the ultimate dream is to represent India”
