Aditya Vawhal is a professional cricketer from Mumbai who plays top division cricket in Mumbai representing the famed Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy. A right handed batsman who plays as an all-rounder, Aditya is known for his elegant strokeplay and a compact stance through which he generates good timing. Apart from being a solid batsman who can be impactul at the top or the middle order, Aditya also manages to chip in with right arm off spin alongside his athletic fielding abilities making him a value proposition in any playing XI.
Aditya started playing cricket from the age of 6 under the coaching of his father Shrikant Vawhal. Aditya started practicing at JCC Ganesh Maidan in Navi Mumbai and since then it has been a huge leap for him. From a little aspiring kid who began playing at Ganesh Maidan to representing top clubs like MIG, TMGA, Matunga Gymkhana, Taki Team SC amongst others, the journey has been promising so far for the young all rounder. Aditya has also played college level cricket representing Ambedkar College Club.
In his short yet promising career so far, Aditya has played in some of the top cricket tournaments of Mumbai ranging from MIG T20 Cup, Kanga League, DSO Tournament, Kharghar T10, Belapur T20 Boom Cup, University Cup, Azad One Day Cup, Nerul Gymkhana T20 Cup, Matunga One Day Cup, Paradkar Boys Junior T20 League amongst a host of other professional cricket tournaments.
Aditya currently trains under the legendary Former Indian Test & One Day Cricketer Vinod Kambli (Head Coach) at Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy. In his short yet promising career, Aditya has smashed 21 half centuries and 5 hundreds with a best score of 208* in mere 107 balls in a One Day Match. Aditya also has a T20 hundred to his name with a Best Score of 108* in 69 balls.
