Spider Cricket Club opting to bat first at Oval Maidan, Plot No.8 made a total of 171/3 in 25 overs with their top 3 batters impressing with solid contributions with the bat. Opener Yuvansh Arekar scored 31 runs while Hridaan Chauhan top scored in the match with 47 runs off 43 balls as both the batters stitched an opening stand of 93 runs for the first wicket. Apart from them, Akash Morya at no.3 also chipped in with 38 runs off 49 balls. From the MCC bowlers, Dishant and Abhinesh grabbed a wicket each.
MCC Thane in reply were all out for 99 runs in 19.4 overs thanks to a match winning spell by Vihaan Wade who returned with match winning bowling performance of 5/14 which dented MCC Thane’s batting line up. Vihaan provided timely breakthroughs as Spider CC won the match by 72 runs.
