Cricket Explained Academy reaches Semifinals of the JKS U14 Champions League’23

Cricket Explained Academy which is located in Dombivli in Mumbai seems to be on a roll as their team has won 3 back to back games to reach the semis of U14 JKS Champions League. In their first encounter Cricket Explained took on Badlapur Academy U14 team whom they defeated by 7 wkts chasing 53 runs. Arnav Sant with 3/5 was the pick of the lot from the bowlers while Aayush Ambekar impressed one and all taking 2 maidens in his 2 overs alongwith 2 wickets which helped him bag “Man of the Match”

In the 2nd match they took on Ketan Sports and Fitness where they defeated Ketan Sports by 8 wkts chasing 83 runs. Dhruv Bhanushali (41* off 39 balls) and Aarya Sagare (16 off 25 balls) were the top scorers while chasing. Captain Aarya Sagare who took 1 and scored 16 runs was declared ‘man of the match”

The third match vs Sportsman CC, Cricket Explained Academy chasing 88 won the match by 5 wkts. Vihaan Wagh with 4/14 and Dhruv Bhanushali with 37 runs were the top performers from Cricket Explained Academy as they clinched a commanding win while Vihaan Wagh for his excellent bowling performance was declared ‘man of the match’

Head Coach Hrishikesh Puranik shared with Zoom Cricket “It has been a collective team performance where our boys have rose up to the occasion, it feels good to reach the semifinals and hopefully we will convert the same momentum into the coming matches.”
