Yuvraj Samra’s blazing half century steers OCA to a finals win in Mississauga-Brampton International Cricket Festival’24

Into the all important finals of the Brampton International Cricket Festival, OCA XI batting first vs Trinbago Youngsters Trinidad batted convincingly putting on a total of 165/7 in 20 overs. Yuvraj Samra who came at no.3 in the 3rd over itself changed the momentum of the game in no time as he went on to score a blazing half century.  Yuvraj went on to score an impressive 61 off mere 34 deliveries, a fabulous knock which included as many as 5 sixes striking at almost 180!

Trinbago Youngsters Trinidad in return could only manage 106/9 in 20 overs with Arya Katariya and Shanay Shah owning up the bowling responsibilities. Both the bowlers have showed great consistency throughout the tournament and they continued to deliver the goods bagging 4 wkts each. Arya returned with envious bowling figures of 4/9 in 4 overs while Shanay Shah was equally impressive taking 4/14 in 4 overs as both the bowlers ensured giving a tough time to the opposition batters as OCA XI won the match by 59 runs and became the reigning Champions of Mississauga-Brampton International Cricket Festival’24
