Zaid Patankar – One of the most promising fast bowling prospects of Mumbai Cricket who has already represented Mumbai at age group is working hard to elevate his game to the next level. The youngster recently played in Straight Drive T20 Tournament where he bowled well followed by another promising bowling performance in Insurance Shield.
In the Straight Drive T20 Tournament, Zaid representing Thakur XI was amongst the pick of the bowlers coming up with an impressive spell of 3/28 in 4 overs. Zaid showed character when other bowlers were taken up for some beating.
In his most recent outing in Insurance Shield where Zaid represented HPCL Team batting first scored 174/7 in 20 overs. Oriental Insurance in reply could only manage 129/4 in 20 overs thanks to some excellent bowling by HPCL bowlers. Zaid was amongst the pick of the lot taking 2/11 in 4 overs which perennially helped HPCL turn things around winning the match by 45 runs.
