The ever dependable opener of CCI, Akhil Herwadkar once again came in well smashing a solid half century. Akhil scored 51 off 32 balls setting the tone for the innings while Akash Parkar scored an unbeaten 51* off 27 balls. Akash known for his big hitting abilities stayed true to his reputation smashing 5 sixes. From the bowlers, Pacemen Sylvester D Souza with 3/32 was the pick of the lot.
Parsee Gymkhana in reply chased down the score in mere 15.4 overs displaying strong batting dominance over the opposition. Opener Ishan Mulchandani scored an unbeaten 77* off 35 balls (5 fours, 5 sixes) while Jayy Jain who came at no.3 smashed an equally impressive 73* off 34 balls. Jayy smashed as many as 6 sixes striking at almost 215.00 as both the players stitched an unbeaten 123* runs stand for the 2nd wicket helping Parsee Gymkhana win the match by 5 wkts.
