Prayag’s gritty 50 steers Hakuna Matata Titans to a 4wkt win in finals of T14 Tri Series’24

Winnipeg Juniors batting first at Waveryly Ground (WPG) scored 129/6 in 14 overs with Krupesh Patel at middle order scoring a half century. From the bowlers, Kabir Bhakta with 4/24 and Yash Sonpal with 2/17 were the pick of the lot.

Chasing 130, Hakuna Matata Titans were 6/2 at one stage , however they got back into the game in no time courtesy a flourishing half century by Prayag Kumar. Prayag coming at no.4 went on to score a flashy 50 off mere 28 balls smashing 4 fours and 3 sixes striking at almost 180. Prayag’s innings changed the momentum of the game while Milan and Vikas later on gave the finishing touch with their cameos winning the finals by 4 wkts and 2 overs to spare.

Hakuna Matata Titans became the Champions of the Tournament while Prayag took home Man of the Match award for his brilliant half century under pressure.
