Prayag’s all-round show goes in vain for Winnipeg Blues in MCA Elite Division’24

Cosmos Lancers batting first at Labarriere Park 1 (WPG) made a total of 101 runs all out in 17 overs with Balwinder and Satnam being the top scorers chipping in with 20’s. From the bowlers, All-Rounder Prayag Kumar with 3/25 in 3 overs was the pick of the lot alongwith Simranpreet Singh who took 2 wkts.

Winnipeg Blues in reply received a tough fight from Cosmos Lancers as they could only manage 93/8 in their stipulated 17 overs. Prayag who came at no.6 when scoreboard was 30/4 and 56/5 in 13 overs almost played a blinder of an innings taking his team through! Prayag scored a quick 45* off 27 balls striking at 167.00 which included 5 boundaries and lots of running between the wickets!

Ultimately WPG fell short by 8 runs as Cosmos Lancers clinched a win.
