MCA B opting to bat first made a total of 200/10 in 41.5 overs with Suved Parkar (47 runs) and Shreeraj Gharat (90 runs) being the top scorers. From the bowlers, Aditya Singh and Atharva Dakve with 4 wkts each were the pick of the lot.

Defending a total of 200, MCA B successfully restricted opposition team MCA D to 172 runs all out courtesy a match winning performance by fast bowler Zaid Patankar. Zaid displayed a proper fast bowling attitude as he made life difficult with his hostile spell of 7/25 in 9 overs with a maiden. Zaid was spitting fire at the crease efficiently mixing swing and pace as his spell included 3 clean bowleds apart from some swing and misses!

MCA B won the match by 28 runs and it was indeed Zaid who was the standout performer in the match.
