Western Railways Traffic Sports Club clinches a close shave win over Citi Bank in F Division Times Shield’26

Played at Oval Maidan in Mumbai, Western Railways Traffic Sports Club batting first were all out for 172 runs in 45 overs.  The top order wickets fell early for Western Railways but Tushar Shringare (30 runs off 80 balls) and Mayuresh Pavaskar at no.7 (43 runs off 74 balls) provided crucial contributions at the middle order to take their team to a defendable total. Both the batters also stitched a handy partnership of 49 runs for 6th wicket which proved to be useful for their team.

Citibank NA Sports Club in reply were all out for 168 runs in what turned out to be an evenly poised match where both the teams fought hard till the very end. Western Railways bowlers were spot on with almost everyone chipping in with crucial spells. Atish Walinjkar and Karan Joshi picked 3 wkts a piece while Akshay Girap and Amol Bhalekar picked 2wkts each as Western Railways Traffic Sports Club won the match by 4 runs.
