Vikrant Auti Ton ensures Parsee Gymkhana wins over CCI in Police Shield’23

CCI after being put to bat first on their homeground were able to muster a total of 254 runs in 69.1 overs. Aarya Satpute was the top scorer smashing 91 runs off 167 balls while Saksham Parashar scored a gritty half century. From the bowlers, Siddarth Raut and Sylvester D Souza were the pick of the lot bagging 4kwts a piece.

Parsee Gymkhana in reply chased down the score successfully thanks to their senior pro Vikrant Auti who has been in good form this season. Vikrant who already had a couple of fifties this season this time converted into a big one as he anchored the chase with a match winning knock of 112 runs in 147 balls which included 12 fours and 2 sixes. Vikrant was well supported by Sagar Chabbria (37 runs) and fellow left hander Jayy Jain who remained unbeaten on 47* off 44 balls as Parsee Gymkhana crossed the victory line in the 62nd over winning the match by 4 wkts.
