Vidhiraj’s 55 helps PDTSA defeat Omtex ICWC in U14 Spider Shield’23

Played at Vangaon in Palghar, PDTSA opting to bat first made a total of 116/4 in 25 overs.  Vidhiraj Shukla opening the innings top scored in the match scoring an impressive half century. Vidhiraj batted till the very end en-route his solid 55* off 67 balls which included 4 boundaries and a six. From the Omtex bowlers, Rishabh Patil with 2/12 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.

Omtex ICWC did gave a tough fight but eventually PDTSA bowlers had the upper hand. Skipper Arhaan Patel was the lone warrior with 44 off 61 balls but he lacked support from the other end. It was a collective bowling performance from PDTSA bowlers with Sonu Gupta bagging 3 wkts and Nehal Meher bagging 2 wkts.

Result: PDTSA won by 3 runs, Vidhiraj Shukla declared “Man of the Match”
