Vedang Mishra’s 87 helps MES Chembur eclipse Rizvi in MI Junior U14 Boys Inter School Tournament’25

Modern English School, Chembur by Achievers Cricket Academy after being put to bat first at Azad Maidan made a total of 240/8 in 40 overs. Vedang Mishra coming at no.3 top scored in the match scoring a brilliant 87 off 92 balls. Coming at no.3 when scoreboard was 54/2, Vedang anchored his team towards a respectable total smashing 10 boundaries at a strike rate of 94.57. Vedang looked all set for a hundred before he got run out in the 39th over by opposition player Pranav.

Rizvi Springfield High School Khar in reply were bundled out for 113 runs in 30.5 overs as MES Chembur bowlers did an excellent job with the ball. Shaunak Gawade with 3/24 in 8 overs with 2 maidens was the pick of the lot alongwith 2/22 by Krish Patil as Modern English School, Chembur by Achievers Cricket Academy won the match by 127 runs.
