Skipper Vaibhavi Raja impresses with a brilliant 117 vs MIG Cricket Club in MCA Women’s Cricket League’24

MIG Cricket Club after being put to bat first at Matunga Gymkhana Ground made a total of 229/6 in 40 overs with Anisha, Dhiti and Heer smashing half centuries. From the bowlers, Juhi Rawat with 4/34 in 8 overs alongwith a maiden was the pick of the lot from Matunga Gymkhana team.

Chasing 230, Matunga Gymkhana team fought well and it was a match which remained exciting till the end. However, Matunga Gymkhana could only manage 217/7 in 40 overs but one standout performance in the match was Vaibhavi Raja. Vaibhavi opening the innings fought it out against a quality side scoring a superb 117 off 114 balls which included 17 boundaries. Vaibhavi lacked decent support from the other end or else a victory was almost on the cards as MIG won the match by a small margin of 12 runs.
