Just fresh from a blazing 51* off 21 balls (3 fours and a six) in VPCC Community Shield Tournament in UK, Uppendur continues to stamp his presence in UK Cricket this time scoring a brilliant knock in a 40 overs match.
Rose and Crown CC batting first made a total of 253/10 in 40 overs with Uppendur Reddy top scoring in the match with an unbeaten hundred. Upender scored an impressive 109 off mere 67 balls, an innings which included 14 boundaries and a six. Upender batted with supreme confidence taking on bowlers with disdain as he covered almost every part of the ground with his effortless batting. Apart from Uppendur, Mandu (47 runs) and Nag (32 runs) also made handy contributions.
Brentwood CC in reply were all out for 77 runs courtesy a very tight bowling performance from Rose and Crown CC bowlers. Upender who first top scored with bat also chipped in with a wicket making it an all-round show for his team as Rose and Crown won the match by 176 runs.
