Upendar’s unbeaten 50* ensures Rose & Crown CC won the historic finals of VPCCL Tournament’23

ROSE and CROWN CC VPCCL Tournament

Into the all important finals at Victoria Park, London, SKY batting first made a total of 148/3 in 16 overs with Mirza scoring a quickfire 18 ball 40*. From the bowlers, Upendar with 1/31 was the pick of the lot alongwith Joe and Pawan taking 1 wkt each.

Rose and Crown CC in reply chased down the score in just 14 overs ensuring an epic finals win by 7 wkts. Uppendar opening the innings guided the chase perfectly as he scored a match winning 50* off 31 balls smashing 8 boundaries and a six while Nag played the supporting role staying not out on 21 off 15 balls as Rose and Crown became the winners of the all important VPCCL finals.
