Spartans CC opting to bat first at Hainault Recreation Ground Essex in London made a total of 198 runs all out in 35 overs. After losing some quick top order wickets, Spartans CC middle order somehow got back into the game with all-rounder Upendar Reddy chipping in with a very vital half century. Upendar turned back the momentum with his aggressive approach as he scored 55 off 52 balls which included 9 boundaries. Batters like Chini (32 runs), Mahen (23 runs) and Shekhar (22 runs) also provided handy cameos at lower middle order ensuring their team reaches a respectable total to defend.

London Sports Club in reply were all out for 109 runs and it was again a collective team performance by Spartans bowlers which made it possible. Upendar just bowled an over and took 2 wkts without conceding a run while Chinni and Rithwik also chipped in with 2 wkts a piece. Srikanth gave the finishing touch taking 2wkts in 2 balls as Spartans won the match in a commanding fashion by 89 runs.
