Umesh Gurjar ton ensures Swara Vicky XI emerges Champions of Spider Premier League’23

Swara Vicky XI after being put to bat first at PDTSA Ground in Palghar made a total of 213/3 in 20 overs. Opener Umesh Gurjar and Yash Chauhan took the game in their hands as they counter attacked the bowlers in every corner of the ground stitching a 99 run stand for the 2nd wicket. Umesh batted from start to end as he went on to score a brilliant 108* off 55 balls which included 13 fours and 5 sixes while Yash Chauhan played an equally aggressive innings of 72 runs in 35 balls which included 8 boundaries and 4 sixes.

Star XI in reply could only manage a total of 163/5 in their 20 overs despite opener Vishal Dhagaonkar’s efforts of 89* in 70 balls. Star XI could’nt manage to change gears In the death overs which ultimately resulted in Swara Vicky XI winning the finals and becoming champions of Spider Premier League.

Swara Vicky XI won the match by 50 runs, Umesh Gurjar declared ‘man of the match”. The Champion Team Swara Vicky XI won cash prize of Rs 75,000/- while Star XI took home a Cash Prize of Rs 50,000/-
