Ugraretas Cricket Club opting to bat first at Nadaprabhu Cricket Ground in Bangalore made a total of 196/9 in 30 overs. Openers Ravi and Sunny gave a flying start of 71 runs in the first 9 overs which set the tone for their innings. Skipper Naveen P (31 off 30 balls) and Jaya (35 off 35 balls) at the middle order further gave the much needed push contributing with crucial cameos of 30’s to help their team reach total of 196/9 in 30 overs.
Ugraretas CC in reply cleaned up the opposition team Elegant Cricketers to just 61 runs in 17.5 overs. Ugraretas CC bowlers did a fine job with the ball with Ganesh Rajan being the pick of the lot taking 3/14 in 4 overs including 1 maiden. Sangamesh who bowled only 5 deliveries also took 2 wkts conceding just 1 run as Ugraretas CC won the match by 135 runs.
