Titans opting to bat first at One Champion 2 Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a total of 178/9 in 20 overs. Saiprasad opening the innings was the top scorer smashing 39 off 31 balls which included 6 boundaries. Sai gave a decent start and created a base for finishers to complete their job. Quick fire of 39 runs by Laddu helped titans to accelerate while Rahul and M Arif also chipped in with quick 20’s at the middle order.
It was a close encounter where Colts United XI also gave a tough fight but ultimately fell short of 9 runs as they ended their innings on 171/10 in 20 overs. Tanay Agarwal and Imran were the pick of the lot taking 2 wkts a piece while Saiprasad who came in to bowl in the 15th over under crunch situation ended up giving just 8 runs in 12 balls including a wicket which made a lot of difference in the death overs.
Titans won the match by 7 runs while Saiprasad made it an all-round show as always being an impactful player both with the bat, ball and excellent fielding! Saiprasad for his 39 runs and 1/8 was declared ‘man of the match”
