Rohtak DCA after being put to bat first at Kaimur Cricket Ground made a total of 302/8 in 50 overs with half-centuries registered by opener Samarjit and Sudarshan Kumar. From the bowlers, Nishant Singh with 3/40 was the pick of the lot while Priyam and Dhanesh bagging 2 wkts each.

Chasing 303, Kaimur DCA chased down the score successfully courtesy two magnificent centuries by Shashank Upadhyay and Anubhav Singh. Shashank opening the innings gave a wonderful start to the chase keeping the scoreboard ticking. Shashank went on to score an impressive 121 off just 101 balls which included 15 boundaries and 2 sixes while also stitching crucial partnerships with Gupil Rai (40 runs) and Anubhav Singh (100* off 96 balls) as Kaimur DCA crossed the victory line in the 50th over winning the match by 6 wkts.

Bihar State Team’s wicket-keeper batsman Shashank Upadhay is making his way to the top putting up consistent performances at District Level. In his last 3 outings, Shashank has scored 88 followed by 51 and now a brilliant century vs Rohtak DCA Team.
