Tarun’s gutsy half century guides Royal Strikers to a win in Moinabad Cricket Championship’24

Royal Strikers opting to bat first at PVR Cricket Arena Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a total of 155/3 in 20 overs.  Even though openers fell early but it was their middle order which steadied the ship for Royal Strikers. Tarun Sharma coming in at no.4 went on to score a brilliant half century taking his team towards a defendable total. Tarun scored 59* off 47 balls which included 8 boundaries striking at 125.53 while also stitching crucial stands with Syed (32 runs) and Yagnesh (22* runs)

Cricmaniacs in reply were all out for 131 runs in 18.4 overs thanks to a disciplined bowling performance by Royal Strikers bowlers. Captain Vijay Shankar, Syed and Ravi Kumar chipped in with 2wkts a piece as Royal Strikers won the match by 24 runs. Tarun Sharma who ringed in his 32nd half century in the match was declared ‘man of the match”
