Tarun’s fighting 71 goes in vain for Omega CC in Saanvi Cricket League Edition 41

The OG’s opting to bat first at RR Cricket Arena Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a total of 170/7 in 20 overs powered by two crucial half centuries by Ashok and Vishal. From the bowlers, Vardhan and Arun with 2 wkts each were the pick of the lot.

Chasing 171, Omega Cricket Club were off to a flying start with openers Tarun and Raghuram putting on 58 runs in the first 7 overs. Tarun Sharma fought it out and gave his best scoring a gritting knock of 71 runs in 47 balls. Tarun notched up his 29th half century striking brilliantly at 151.06 which included 9 boundaries and 2 sixes.

Tarun got dismissed in the 15th over, a moment from where things started going downhill for Omega CC as rest of the batters could’nt capitalize managing to reach a score of 150/5 in 20 overs as OG’s won the match by 20 runs.
