Tarun Sharma’s blazing unbeaten 78* powers Mitchell Martin India to a win in TS Hyd Cricket Championship-11

Mitchell Martin India opting to bat first at DMRC Ground, Hakimpet made a total of 173/2 in 20 overs. Opener Varun and no.3 batsman Tarun Sharma stitched a 114 run stand for the 2nd wicket as both the batters scored crucial half centuries. Varun V scored 66 off 44 balls smashing 8 boundaries while Tarun was the highest scorer in the match. Tarun smashed a quickfire 78* off 51 balls which included 11 boundaries at a brilliant strike rate of 152.94. Tarun batted deeply till the end taking his team towards a strong position.

United XI in reply were all out for 80 runs in 13.4 overs with Captain Vivek G taking 4/7 in 4 overs which included 3 maidens. Yagnesh also bowled well taking 3/20 in 3.4 overs including a maiden as Mitchell Martin won the match by a dominating margin of 93 runs.

Vivek G for his all-round performance was declared ‘Man of the Match” while Tarun Sharma was declared the “Best Batter Award”
