Tarun Sharma’s 41 powers Mitchell Martin India to a win in TS HYD Cricket Championship’24

Mitchell Martin India opting to bat first at DMRC Hakimpet Ground in Hyderabad made a total of 131/10 in 20 overs. After losing one of their openers early, it was their wicket-keeper Varun V and Tarun Sharma putting on a crucial stand of 52 runs for the 2^nd wicket. Opener Varun scored 36 runs while Tarun was the highest scorer in the match scoring 41 runs off 33 balls which included 6 boundaries at a strike rate of 124.24.

Mitchell Martin bowlers in reply did a very good job with the ball restricting Strike India to 126/9 in 20 overs. It was a low scoring thriller which remained exciting till the very last ball. However, Mitchell Martin bowlers successfully defended their low total with Vijay Shankar and Raju Nelapati bagging 3wkts each.
