Sydney’s Quickfire 68 steers Stallions CC to a thumping win in HCSL-23 Hyderabad Corporate Super League’23

Tangent Soldiers XI opting to bat first at MBR 3 Cricket Ground in Hyderabad made a total of 149/9 in 20 overs with Srinath N at the middle order being the top scorer with 53 runs. From the bowlers, Sydney Joseph and Haroon were the pick of the lot bagging 3wkts a piece while Raja taking 2 wkts.

Chasing 150, Stallions CC at one stage looked in trouble with scoreboard reading 33/2 in 4 overs but it was Sydney Joseph and Anas Baig (46 off 21 balls) turning things around with a match winning partnership of 93 runs for the 3rd wicket. Sydney scored a quickfire 68* off mere 30 balls smashing 9 fours and 3 sixes taking his team home with a brilliant 6 wkt win alongwith 6.3 overs to spare.

Result: Stallions CC won by 6 wkts, Sydney Joseph declared ‘Man of the Match”
