Sydney’s 73 guides NLAG Stars to a finals win becoming Champions of Drift Cricket Premier League Season 3

Into the all important finals at Stumps Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana, NLAG Stars opting to bat first made a total of 150/8 in 15 overs. Once again, after losing some quick wickets, Sydney Joseph turned the fortunes around for his team. Just fresh from a hundred in the semi-finals, Sydney continued his onslaught with a brilliant 73 off 39 balls. Coming at no.4 when situation was a bit tricky with 3 down, Sydney played his natural game spanking 4 sixes and 9 boundaries striking at almost 187.18.

Flamin Phantoms in reply could only manage 122/6 in 15 overs with almost every NLAG bowler chipping in with a wicket each as they won the finals by 28 runs. Sydney for his match winning 73 was declared ‘man of the match”.

Sydney also ended up being the leading run scorer, highest wicket taker and MVP Player of the tournament.
