AG (L & R) Sports Club opting to bat first at Worli Sports Club Ground in Mumbai made a total of 181/7 in 15 overs. Openers Varun Lavande and Swapnil Salvi wrecked havoc putting on 148 runs in mere 11.2 overs. Varun scored 61 off 37 while Swapnil went on to score a blazing 89 off mere 35 deliveries which included as many as 9 sixes alongwith 5 boundaries at a strike rate of 254.29. It was a complete carnage as both the openers collectively spanked 13 sixes and 10 fours together.
Mafatlal CC were all out for 104 runs with Siddhesh N bagging 3 wkts while Vedant and Prankesh bagging 2 wkts a piece. AG (L & R) Sports Club won the match by 77 runs while Swapnil Salvi was declared ‘man of the match”. This is also Swapnil’s 3rd back to back man of the match award in the tournament.
