Sujit Dalvi (91) & Mann Bhanushali (4/22) steer Anjuman Islam to a win in the Mumbai Indians Inter School Tournament’20

Played at the Anjuman Islam and Don Bosco at Youth’s Own Union, Cross Maidan, Anjuman Islam batting first posted a more than decent total of 291/7 in 40 overs. With a decent top order start with scoreboard reading 3/85 with opener Kundu out on 31 runs, it was Sujit Dalvi at no.6 who changed the course of the game with a solid knock of 90 runs in mere 71 balls which had 14 fours and 1 six. The rest of the batters chipped in with cameos as Anjuman Islam were in a strong position.

Defending a total of 292, it was Anjuman’s reliable workhorse Mann Bhanushali providing timely breakthroughs alongwith Manas Mukadam as Don Bosco were cleaned up for mere 65 runs in 17 overs. Mann bagged 4/22 in 5 overs with a maiden while Manas with 2/9 in 5 overs provided some early breakthroughs as Anjuman Islam won the match by 206 runs.
