Raghu Sharma cricketer

Played at the scenic Galle International Stadium, Kalutara Town Club opting to bat first posted a total of 190/10 in 50.2 overs. Opener Kosala’s 75 was the only shining grace in an otherwise batting collapse encountered by Kalutara Team courtesy a brilliant spell by Raghu Sharma. Raghu who is a Pondicherry Ranji Player from India perfectly showed his expertise with the ball running through the KTC batters coming up with envious bowling figures of 5/52 in 17 overs. Raghu provided timely breakthroughs including the prized wicket of Kosala who was looking well set.

Galle CC in reply scored 405/6 courtesy a solid performance from their middle orders consisting of Shalith (133 runs), Vinura (77 runs) and Kavindu (72 runs). With a huge lead of 215 runs, the pressure was certainly on Kalutara team and Raghu once again proved to be unplayable this time returning with 6/56 in 25.1 overs including 7 maidens to restrict Kalutara Town Club to 202 all out.

Galle CC won by an innings and 13 runs while it was Raghu Sharma who was the star performer bagging 11 wkts in the match.
