Toss :On a cloudy afternoon, Spartans CC won the toss & elected to bat first at their home ground Jack Carter Pavilion.
Waseem’s Explosive Start
Spartans vice-captain Wasim hit three boundaries and a six, but lost his wicket in the sixth over after scoring 27 of 19 balls. The team’s score reached 54, then we lost two more wickets quickly.
Fahad & Yash(150) – The partnership of the match
Yash and Fahad had a great partnership worth 152 runs, with Fahad scoring his first century and Yash reaching his first half-century. The team declared after the 42nd over, setting a target of 270 runs in 48 overs for the opposition.
Bowling – Yash, the Superstar
The opposition made a strong start, reaching 37 runs in 8 overs. Basim took the first wicket in the 9th over. Yash then formed a bowling partnership with Parimeet and Basim to dismiss the opposition team. Yash took 7 wickets for 16 runs, while Basim and Parimeet took 2 and 1 wicket(s) respectively.

With this, Fahad also attained a unique record which no one will be able to break or take away from him. Fahad became the first player from Spartans Cricket Club, Essex to score a hundred. He is the first centurion of a club which is going to run and create history for years to come and his name will forever be associated with this record.
