Skipper Vikrant’s blazing 62 guides Customs into the finals of Sheth Narotam Morarjee Shipping Tournament’25

Played at Mumbai Police Gymkhana ground, Customs opting to bat first in the all important semi- finals made a total of 215/8 in 20 overs. Skipper Vikrant Auti opening the innings top scored for customs scoring an aggressive half century. Auti scored an impressive 62 off mere 26 deliveries spanking 6 boundaries and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 238.46. Vikrant also stitched 2 crucial partnerships with Rugved More (33 runs) and Kaushal Valsangkar (44 runs) which set the tone for Customs innings.

JSW Anchors in reply scored 172/7 in 20 overs with Sahil Jadhav at no.4 scoring 70 runs off 49 balls. The rest of the batters found it difficult to get going vs the tight bowling of customs. Akash Parkar with 3/36 and Kushagra with 2/34 were the pick of the lot as Customs won the match by 43 runs and qualified into the finals of the tournament.
