Skipper Tarun Sharma’s blazing 52 steers Elite India to victory in Try 20 League’24

Elite India United opting to bat first at Ashwin Cricket Ground in Hyderabad made a commanding total of 241/3 in 20 overs. Opener Dileep and Captain Tarun Sharma gave a flying start putting on 57 runs in the powerplay which set the tone for their innings. Tarun registered one of his fastest half centuries as he smacked an impressive 52 off mere 24 deliveries, an innings which included 7 boundaries and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 216.67. SP Sai (65 runs) and Varun V (51 runs) at no.3 and 4 also smashed vital half centuries as Elite India reached a massive total to defend!

Damaiduga Devils in reply gave a tough fight, however they finished off their innings scoring 182/ all out in 18.1 overs with Prem, Deepu and Saiteja bagging 2 wkts each. Elite India eventually won the match in a dominating fashion by 59 runs and SP Sai was declared ‘man of the match”
