Skipper Sydney’s quick 67 at the middle order helps Dell Warriors win in Hummingbird Pure Corporate League’24

HSBC opting to bat first at Hummingbird Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad made a total of 180/5 in 20 overs with opener Bashir scoring a century. From the bowlers, Prasad Madana with 2/29 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot while Sydney was the most economical conceding only 18 runs in 4 overs.

Chasing 182, it looked like a mere formality for Dell Warriors as they took mere 14.3 overs to complete the match. Keeper batsman Shaukat (51 runs) and Captain Sydney at the middle order went all out against the bowlers stitching a match winning 92 run stand for the 3^rd wicket. Sydney once again played a blinder scoring 67 off mere 29 deliveries which included as many as 6 sixes at an envious strike rate of 231.03.
