Shiv Seva Cricket Club batting first at Oval Maidan in Mumbai made a total of 100/10 in 25 overs. Opener Sarthak Vasaikar was the lone fighter with a knock of 37 runs in 52 balls while rest of the batters were dismissed for single digits apart from Aaradhya (12 runs). MCC bowlers did a fine job of not allowing the batters to let loose with Abhir Telange and Nawaz Oberoi bagging 2 wickets each.

In what turned out to be a neck to neck finale, MCC Santacruz fought it out and batted till the end ultimately falling short of just 2 runs as Shiv Seva CC won the match by 2 runs. MCC after losing both the openers early got back into the game on the back of Aryav’s 21 and Nakul’s 31 at the middle order while Captain Samarth remaining not out on 20* at no.7

However, Shiv Seva bowlers performed well in the death overs as they kept on taking timely breakthroughs to emerge the Champions of the U12 MCC Talent Search Tournament.
