Shailesh Ghule bags MoM as Panhala Panthers win the 3rd Position Tie in 2N Designers Premier League’23

Panhala Panthers opting to bat first at Hazare Sports Club in Pune made a total of 118/5 in 15 overs with opener Yogesh Narwade (42 runs off 35 balls) and Shailesh Ghule at no.3 giving a solid start of 70 runs for the 2nd wicket. Shailesh top scored in the match smashing 45 off 36 balls smashing 4 boundaries and 2 sixes.

It was a close match which held suspense till the very last ball but ultimately Sinhagad Lions fell short of 4 runs in the penultimate over as they scored 114/5 in 15 overs. In-form all-rounder Nikhil Jain at one stage looked all set to finish the match in style before he was dismissed for a rapid 41 off 23 balls while rest of the batters below found it difficult to keep up with the run rate. Hemant Sathye with 2/15 in 3 overs and Girish Oak with 2/18 in 3 overs were the pick of the lot as Panhala Panthers won the match by 4 runs.
