Sarthak Rathod & Prayag Shah steer SPIDER B to a win in U14 Spider Shield’23

Spider B after being put to bat first at Vangaon in Palghar posted a total of 92/8 in 25 overs. Opener Sonakshi Solanki scored 19 runs and Priyansh Pawar with 21 runs was the highest scorer in the innings. From the bowlers, Sarthak Rathod and Prayag Shah with 3 wkts each were the pick of the lot, Sarthak took 3/23 while Prayag took 3/19 respectively.

Spider A in reply chased down the score successfully crossing the victory line in the 20th over. Even though it was a shaky start with some quick wickets lost, Neil Bhanushali at no.7 top scored with 18* off 33 balls.

Result: Spider A won by 4 wkts, Sarthak Rathod declared ‘man of the match”
