Sanketh (5wkts), Pratyush (105) & Samhith Reddy (70) steer TKR College to a finals win in Redbull Campus Tournament’22

Played at the TKR Engineering College Ground, TKR College after being put to bat first by Bhavans College were least affected losing the toss as they made a mammoth total on board. TKR scored 238/5 in 20 overs courtesy a 150 run stand by Pratyush and Samhith Reddy. Samhith entered the crease when team was struggling with scoreboard reading 50/3 in the 6th over. However, Samhith Reddy was quick to change the momentum scoring a brilliant 70 off 35 balls, a knock which included 6 fours and 6 sixes. Samhith who has played for Hyderabad State Team at almost age groups displayed his batting prowess under crunch situation bringing TKR out of trouble. Pratyush on the other hand top scored with a fabulous knock of 105* as both the batters took their team towards a commanding position.

Bhavans College in reply were all out for 148 runs courtesy a match winning bowling spell by Sanketh who returned with 5 wkts in his spell of 4 overs. TKR – Teegala Krishna Reddy College of Engineering won the all important finals of the tournament by 90 runs and became the Champions of Redbull Campus Tournament 2022.
