Samhith Reddy’s Century powers Continental to a 6 wkt win in HCA A1 Division 3 Days League Championship’24

Team P Krishna Murty batting first at One Champion Ground in Hyderabad were all out for 195 runs in 71.1 overs. Almost every batter chipped in with starts with 40’s by Sachit and SM Hussain. From the bowlers, left arm off spinner Yashaswi was the pick of the lot returning with bowling figures of 7/71 in 33.1 overs.

Continental in their 1st innings in reply made 285 runs with a match winning century by Samhith Reddy. After losing some early wickets, Samhith who came at no.5 ressurected the innings back smashing a solid looking 106 off 117 balls, an innings which included 16 boundaries striking at 90.00+ and helping his team with a lead of 90 runs.

P Krishna Murty in 2nd innings made 297 runs in 50 overs giving an overall target of 209 for Continental which was chased down easily as they won the match by 6 wkts taking only 40.1 overs to cross the victory line. Opener Aryan scored 99 runs while Samhith once again anchored his team with an unbeaten 52* off 67 balls stitching crucial stands with Aaditya and Aryan.
