Samhith Reddy impresses with some brilliant knocks in Mega T20 Cricket Premier League’23

Samhith Reddy who has represented Hyderabad across almost age groups while he was also in the Senior Squad last year continues to make a strong impression with the bat this time with some strong performances in Mega T20 Premier League.

In the Super Knockout Game vs YIFP, Samhith who plays for JCC Jada Cricket Club scored a quickfire knock of 43 runs in mere 18 balls smashing 3 fours and 3 sixes playing at a strike rate of almost 240.00 and stitching a great partnership with Arvind. Samhith played the finishers role to perfection taking his team total to 251/5 in 20 overs where they eventually won the match by 171 runs.

In the semi finals which followed on 16th February, it was Samhith show all over again as he scored a match winning 92* off mere 54 balls. Samhith- a naturally stylish strokemaker smashed 11 boundaries and 3 sixes almost scoring half of the team total once again batting till the end for JCC taking team total to 189/5 in 20 overs. C.C.C.C in reply scored 173/10 as JCC won the semis by 16 runs while Samhith Reddy was declared ‘man of the match”
