Saiprasad plays the finisher’s role with a 22 ball half century for Titans in quarterfinals of Pearlcity Championship S9

Played at Vijay Lakshmi Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Titans opting to bat first made an impressive total of 211/5 in 20 overs on board. Opener Shoeb and Badi Uzzaman set the base with crucial cameos scoring 37 and 49 each while wicket-keeper batsman Rajat Chaudhary scored a quickfire 44 off 26 balls. Rajat also stitched crucial partnership with all-rounder Saiprasad Bhosle who proved to be the game changer with his ferocious half century. Sai batted exceptionally well in the death overs as he top scored with a match winning half century. Coming at no.6, Sai scored a blazing 51 off 22 balls which included 5 boundaries and 3 sixes at an impressive strike rate of 231.82

Wanderers in reply could only manage 157/6 in 20 overs with Mohammad Arif being the pick of the lot taking 2/31 in 4 overs. The rest of the bowlers also contributed well as Titans won the quarter finals match by 54 runs.
