Sahil’s brilliant 100 & Agastya’s fifer helps Badlapur Cricket Academy clinch a win over Elavya C.A in Satara Tour of Mumbai

Played at Jagannath Krida Sankul in Badlapur, Badlapur Cricket Academy after being put to bat first posted a healthy total of 267/6 in 40 overs. Sahil Kocharekar at no.3 once again impressed one and all with the bat scoring a stunning 100 off 96 balls. Sahil smacked 13 boundaries displaying wide range of shots as he steered his team towards a more than healthy total to defend. Wickets did tumble in between but Siddhesh Salunkhe at lower middle order gave good support to Sahil scoring 46 runs off 73 balls.

Eklavya Cricket Academy in reply were cleaned up for 92 runs courtesy a match winning bowling performance by Agastya Surve. Agastya literally changed the course of the match as he returned with exceptional bowling figures of 5/8 in 5 overs which included as many as 4 maidens. Agastya made life difficult for batters as he was hard to read providing timely breakthroughs to his team.

Result: Badlapur Cricket Academy won by 175 runs, Agastya Surve declared ‘man of the match’
