
After winning the hearts of all the cricket lovers with a fifer and hat-trick on debut, Gill continues to rule hearts this time showing his prowess with the bat. Kenya opting to bat first at Sikh Union Club in Nairobi made a massive total of 308/7 in 50 overs with half centuries registered by opener Neil Mugabe and Sachin Bhudiya. However, the game changing knock came from Sachin Gill who came at no.5 and went on to score a brilliant 101 off 96 balls. Sachin smashed 7 fours and 3 sixes while also stitching a 186 run stand for the 4th wicket with Neil.
Niegria in return were all out for 111 runs in 27.1 overs as Kenya bowlers showed great discipline not allowing any batters to let loose. Sachin Gill also took 2/29 in 6 overs including a maiden as Kenya won the match by a massive margin of 197 runs.
Sachin Gill was declared ‘Player of the Match’, his 2nd back to back MoM award while he was adjudged ‘Player of the Series’ for his overall all-round show
