Andhra Pradesh after being put to bat first at KSCA Cricket Ground posted a total of 144/10 in 42.3 overs. Even though Andhra suffered a top and middle order collapse, Nitish Reddy at no.8 top scored with 50 runs off 54 balls. Sumit Ruikar with 4/23 in 10 overs was the pick of the lot from Chhattisgarh.

Chasing 148 looked like a mere formality for Chhattisgarh team as they chased down the score with ease winning the match by 8 wkts and almost 24 overs to spare. After openers giving a decent start, it was skipper Harpreet anchoring the chase with a solid looking 65* off 54 balls. It was a strokeful innings which included 7 fours and 2 sixes while he got good support from Amandeep who remained unbeaten on 35* off 41 balls.

Harpreet who has already notched up 516 runs at a stunning average of 86.00 which includes 4 half centuries and 2 hundreds continues to tirelessly score runs proving himself in all formats this season. Harpreet with such consistency is certainly making a strong case for himself.
